Chester Miles Corporon, 93, of Collegeport, TX passed away November 28, 2016. He was born January 4, 1923 in Citrus Grove, TX to the late Ira Miles Corporon and Carrie Jenkins Corporon. Chester is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Hermis Corporon. He is survived by daughter Linda O'Rourke of El Campo; sons Charles Corporon and wife Beki of Bay City, Tommy Corporon of Collegeport, Carl Corporon and wife Kathy of El Campo, and Victor Corporon and wife Barbara of Collegeport; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday, December 2 from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City with Rev. Kathy Vineyard officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers are Travis Corporon, Loren Corporon, Carl Corporon, Jr., Thomas O'Rourke, Joey Cornett and Joshua Mayes. Honorary pallbearers are Russell Corporon, Brian McClure, Cruz Figueroa and Michael Furrh. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Chester's honor to Houston Hospice/El Campo, P.O. Box 1417, El Campo, TX 77437, or the charity of your choice.
