Rockford Register Star (IL) - Monday, December 8, 2008 DORIS M. DEWEY , 80 ROCKFORD - Doris M. Dewey, 80, of Rockford passed away early Friday morning, Dec. 5, 2008, after a brief illness. Born June 9, 1928, in Washburn, Wis., the daughter of Andrew and Otilia Klock . She married Stanley Dewey of Rockford in 1951 . Doris had a wonderful sense of humor and loved her family, animals and flowers. She was a beautiful person who will be missed by all who knew her. Survived by sons, Alan (Patti) and Kerry; brother, John (Audrey) Albright; grandchildren, Nichole and Jared Dewey, Amanda (John) Hanley, Joe Avery and Katie Linden; and great-grandchildren, Trenton Dewey and Shannon and Johnny Hanley. Predeceased by parents and many brothers and sisters. Memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, in Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7000 W. State St. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
