Lyle D. Kurrelmeyer, 83 of Fremont, Nebraska passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont. He was born September 8, 1939 to Benjamin and Linda (Diedrichsen) Kurrelmeyer at Scribner, NE. Lyle was raised at Scribner and graduated from Scribner High School. He then served in the US Army. He farmed, worked at Ace Glass and retired as parts manager from Larsen International in 2012. Lyle married (Goracke) in Fremont, NE in 2007. He was a member of American Legion Post #20 of Fremont. Anyone who knew Lyle knew how he loved to talk to anyone. He is survived by his wife Gloria of Fremont and many nieces and nephews. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Rev. Scott Jensen Chaplain, Methodist Fremont Health will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-7 P.M., also at Moser's. Burial with Military Honors conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of VFW Post #854 & American Legion Post #20 will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
