Jackie Maurine Hume Weems August 4, 1938 ~ May 21, 2018 Jackie Weems, 79, was born August 4, 1938 in Hollis, Oklahoma to her parents, Grady and Joyce (Rexrode) Hume. She passed away May 21, 2018. Jackie attended South Oak Cliff High School and went to work as an elevator operator in 1955. She married the love of her life, Harold Weems, on June 12, 1956 in Gainesville, Texas. Jackie never met a stranger, she enjoyed being with family and friends, and loved to laugh. She always payed close attention to detail. Jackie enjoyed bowling, shopping, traveling and dancing. She served as a term president for the Daughters of the King and was a member for 10 years. She was a member of St. James Church for 12 years and volunteered at the Genesis Women's Shelter. She was an amazing wife, mother, mimi and great-mimi. Preceded in death by her parents, son, Phillip Ray Weems and son, Harold Weems Jr. Survived by her husband, Harold Weems, daughter, Judy, son, Ray Weems, grand children, great-grand children and many other family members and many more friends.
