Bio
Mr. Bill Sharbine, age 88, of Euless, Texas passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022. Bill Sharbine was born to the late William and Naomi Sharbine on January 19, 1934, in Mineral Wells, TX. He was married to JoAnn Britt, the love of his life for 66 years. They moved to Euless where he was a resident for over 70 years. He worked for Dallas Power & Light for 30 years as a valuable employee and retired as Shift Supervisor for the whole plant. He also served as a volunteer for the Euless Fire Department. After retiring he worked at Calloway's Nursery for 12 years. Bill served as Deacon for Scotland Hills Church of Christ where he managed the building and grounds and then at Brown Trail Church of Christ over benevolence for many years. He had a servant's heart, always taking food to the sick and shut-ins or doing some type of repair at no charge for members of the congregation. He had many interests that included hunting, fishing, gardening, photography, electronics, computers, and many others. He loved collecting coins, stamps, antique bottles, rocks, and fossils. He did extensive genealogy research and documentation. He was an avid gardener and shared his plants and cuttings with family and friends. He grew the beautiful flowers that JoAnn would press to make her special "one of a kind" greeting cards. He and JoAnn traveled the world extensively taking on every new adventure hand in hand. Bill loved God, his loving wife of 66 years, JoAnn, his children Pam and Wes, his grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler, Tiffany, Rachel, Melanie, and Will and finally his great grandchildren, Jolie, Finley, Ella, Cooper, Ellie, Hattie, Nate, Emory, Weston, Sophia, and Walker. He was a devoted family man. Bill, Dad, Granpa was always there for any need that anyone had. Bill lived a very full life of 88 years and went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2022. Bill is survived by his wife JoAnn Sharbine, his daughter Pam Morse and spouse Randy, son Wes Sharbine and spouse Edwina and six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Naomi Sharbine, his sister Ann Holland and his grandson Tyler Morse. A visitation for Bill will be held Monday, September 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034. The funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Airport Freeway Church of Christ, 210 Airport Fwy, Euless, TX 76039. Burial will follow immediately at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034. Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home
