Bio

Vaclav was born in Merkovice #18, Moravia on September 28, 1834. His parents were Ignac Urbis and Anna Cervenka. He immigrated to America 1870. With him was his Wife, Terezie (Kristek) Urbis, and children Terezie age 12 and Frantisek age 3. They arrived in New Orleans on November 15, 1870 aboard the ship Frankfurt.
