James Lee Horn, 72, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, after a lengthy illness. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. James was born June 22, 1935, to Delbert and Bessie Horn in Commerce. He retired after 31 years of service at the General Motors Assembly Plant in Arlington. After his retirement, his passion was buying and selling items from garage and estate sales until his health began failing. James was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Joyce Glover and Georgia Wray; and brothers, Russell Horn, Royce Horn and Larry Horn. Survivors: His wife of 40 years, Colleen Glasgow Horn; children, Sherry Dorn and husband, Frank, Gary Coke and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Leslie Thigpen, Jeremy Coke and Lindsey Coke; great-grandchildren, Seth, Wiley and Austin, all of Arlington; brother, Richard Otis Horn of Richmond, Va.; sisters, Wilma Castellano of Lawton, Okla., and Francis Butler of Wichita Falls.
