Bio

Roy L. Holbrook, 85, a longtime resident of St. Clair Shores, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at Autumn Woods Nursing Care Center in Warren. He was born Feb. 2, 1922, in Wise County, Va. Mr. Holbrook was an Army veteran of World War II and worked as a millwright in the automotive business. He is survived by his sons, Roger (Colleen), Kenneth (Sheri), and Donald (Kimberly); six grandchildren; and siblings, Douglas (Jackie), and Evelyn (Gene) Hall. He was predeceased by his wife, Sarah; and brother, Willard. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Interment will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Monday.
