Bio
Headstone may be incorrect. Various census data shows his name as Johnny, or John C. His death certificate reads John C, but several documents have Jack as well, which were found on Ancestry. Middle name was Sexton as indicated on his son, Rolly Gordon McCoy's, "delayed" birth certificate of 1941, (attested to by the attending physician) which he is listed as "Johnny Sexton McCoy". He is also listed as Johnny Sexton on his son, Edmund Haford's, "delayed" birth certificate of 1941. Not sure if they ever really knew each other's given names, or when they were born!
