Bio

Sarah was buried in Krantz Farm Cemetery and her stone was there, when the cemetery reading was first done. In 2000, when Ellis County Genealogical Society did reading, the stone was missing. Her tombstone is in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Midlothian, Ellis County, Texas. Not sure, if or when, she was re-buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery, or just stone was moved. First wife of Joseph Henry Witherspoon. Had 4 children. Died 6 days after birth of son Joseph Yancey Witherspoon.
