OBITUARY Josephine Marie Burk March 15, 1933 – February 23, 2021 Josephine Marie Burk was born March 15, 1933 to Joseph and Janie Krasucky in Hines, TX. She passed away on February 23, 2021 in Mesquite, TX. Prior to her move to Mesquite, she had been long time resident of Seagoville, TX where she and the love of her life, Billy Burk raised their two sons. Josephine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Burk; sisters, Wilma McCarty, Helen McCarty; brother, George Krasucky; and infant granddaughters, Jacy and Melissa Burk. Those left to cherish her memories are her children; grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Sister and a host of nieces and nephews and lots of great friends. After attending High School, Josephine's first job was at Neiman Marcus Dallas as a wedding dress consultant. She then worked 15 years as an office/clerical associate at Southwestern Optical. Her final employer was Hughey and Phelp where she retired after 16 years as an accounting associate. After a few months of retirement, she opened an in-home daycare where she adored the children she kept. Josephine was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. While we are left to mourn her passing, Josephine, secure in her salvation was ready to meet the Lord. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Church on the Hill (cometothehill.com).
