The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, 06 Jan 1977, Friday MbMRS. CORA DOANE DENISON -- Funeral for Mrs. Cora H. Doane, 74, of Denison, a retired registered nurse, will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Chapel here with burial in Cedarlawn Memorial Park at Sherman. Mrs. Doane died Tuesday in a Denison hospital. A native of Princeton, she graduated from Baylor University Hospital in 1923 and was a nurse here more than 50 years. She was a member of Morton Street Church of Christ. Surviving are two sons, Jackie Bert Doane of Morgan City, La., and and John B. Doane of Ft. Sam Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Murphy of Ft. Worth and Mrs. Larry Hansen of Dennison; two brothers, B.R. Hodges of Dallas and Herman Hodges of Denton, and three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Densmore of Farmersville, Mrs. Lonnie Guynes of Dallas and Mrs. Sarah Parker of Princeton.
