Martin E. TRANTHAM was born May 11, 1853 in Carroll County, AR, and died June 21, 1917 in Carroll County, AR. He was the son of Alfred Burney TRANTHAM and Mahala EPLEY. He married Marietta Angelina YOUNGBLOOD, daughter of Jeremiah YOUNGBLOOD and Eliza E. DUNLAP. He married Mary Jane YOUNGBLOOD. His father Alfred Burney TRANTHAM was born 27 MAY 1833 in TN, and died JAN 1865 in Carroll Co., AR. He was the son of Martin TRANTHAM and Rachel Ritter TRAYLOR His mother Mahala EPLEY was born 9 DEC 1833 in TN, and died 17 AUG 1908 in Carroll Co., AR. She was the daughter of Daniel EPLEY and Sally BROWN. Children of Mahala EPLEY and Alfred Burney TRANTHAM are: i. William Aaron TRANTHAM was born 6 DEC 1851, and died 23 JUL 1914.
