COOPER REVIEW, April 11, 1974 Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs Jannie Noland, 82, at McClanahan and Son Funeral Home in Cooper, Texas with Rev Ray Moore, pastor of the first Christian Church in Mesquite, Texas, officiating. Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas. She died April 8th in Big Town Nursing Home. Born McMinville, Tennessee, She had lived in Mesquite, Texas for 10 years and was an active member of the First Christian Church until a few years ago. Before moving to Mesquite, Texas, she had lived in Cooper, Texas for 60 years. She was a homemaker, a friend to everyone, always looking for the good in others. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs Juanita Hewgley, Mesquite, Texas, Mrs Theresa Beach and Mrs Rowena Melton of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Mrs R E Wortham. Greenville, Texas; four brothers, W I Estes, Cooper, Texas; Dewey Estes, Tom Estes and Czerney Estes, all of Sulphur Springs, Texas; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bill Claer, Charles Long, Ray Jones, Troy Kern, Edwin Bettis and Joe Choate.
