Bio
Flying Officer Emil C. Tallant Served with the U.S.Army Air Corps during WW2 of 1941-45. He gave his life in the service of his country in the Pacific on Aug. 11th 1945 at the age of 24. The following info was given on Aug. 10th 2015 Flight Officer, U.S. Army Air Corps. Co-pilot and one of four airmen killed, when their transport, C-46A Commando #43-47210, loaded with gasoline, crashed on takeoff from the airfield at Kumming, China - Tim Cook Added: Aug. 10, 2015 ***************************************************************** U.S. Army Service No. (ASN): #T-063162 Emil C. Tallant is listed as Died Non-Battle in the 1946 Army and Army Air Forces Personnel Casualty List for Cook County, Illinois. U.S., National Cemetery Interment Control Forms, 1928-1962, lists WWII dead returned from Pacific. Mausoleum No. 2, Hawaiian Islands.
