Daughter of Glenn and Genevieve (Wise) Ferdig ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Janice Kay Ferdig, 11-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Ferdig, 305 S. Prescott street, died at a hospital Friday of pneumonia. She was born February 5, 1943 in Sioux City. Survivors are her parents; a sister, Sharon Jean, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Wise. Oto, Ia., and Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ferdig, Mapleton, Ia. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the West-Heaton funeral home, Rev. George W. Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. The Sioux City Journal, January 22, 1944
