Obituary found in the Waco New Tribune, Waco, Texas, May 7th, 1957: Hamilton Rites Set Tuesday for Ivens Gregory, May 6 - Ivens A. Gregory, 74, died at his home in Hamilton at 7 a.m. Monday after a long illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bob Riley Chapel, Rev. D.L. Tracy officiating, burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton. Mr. Gregory was born in Tennessee and came to Hamilton with his parents when he was 10. He worked as a carpenter until he retired seven years ago. Survivors are his widow; four sons, Wade Gregory, C.D. Gregory and Ivan Gregory, all of Hamilton, and Aubrey Gregory of Brownfield; three daughters, Mrs. Albert Donahoo and Mrs. Agnes Connell, both of Hamilton, and Mrs. Talmage Bennett of Beliong; two sisters, Mrs. Nath Massingill of Hamilton and Mrs. Snow Morris of San Bernadino, California. 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
