Bio
Joseph Edwards, age 91 of Rockwall, TX, passed away July 3, 2022. He was born April 12, 1931, to Rufus and Rennie Edwards. He was a hard worker and he loved to spend time welding and working in his shop. "If PaPa can't fix it, no one can," was the family saying. He retired after a long career as a maintenance supervisor in the chemical plant industry. Joseph was a proud Free Mason and Shriner and enjoyed sharing stories about his service in both organizations. He most treasured spending time with his family doing the small things such as watching America's Funniest Videos or preparing for a big bar-b-que outdoors. You could always count on having a great laugh if you were lucky enough to spend the day with PaPa. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Quinny Edwards; and their two sons, Rodney Edwards and wife Sabrina, and Robert Edwards and wife Jennifer. Also, from a previous marriage, son, Jeffrey Edwards and wife Debbie; and daughter, Dorenda Edwards. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Rachel Walker and husband Chris, Matt Edwards, Joey Liberty and husband Craig, Bryce Edwards, Lauren Edwards, Elias Edwards; four great-grandchildren; brother: Gaylon Edwards and wife Lela; and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Joel Edwards; and siblings.
