James Nolan Jones age 90 of Whitney, TX passed away on July 3,2022. A graveside service will be held at 10:30am Friday, July 8,2022 at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville,TX, with a visitation at 9:30am. James Nolan Jones was born February 1,1932 in New Mexico to Carl Jones and Emma (Harrington) Jones. James served in the Navy during the Korean War. He met the love of his life, Ruth in San Antonio,TX and was married in 1967. Jimmy was the owner of J&R Air for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 1995. He never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to everyone. Jimmy always made sure that his family knew they were deeply loved. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, wife Ruth, infant son Billy Carl. Siblings- Lillian Edge, Norman Jones, Dora Willis, Laverne Naylor, Louise Habermehl, Eugene Jones, and Jonell Wagner. James is survived by daughter Melissa and husband Chris and granddaughter Sydney Bailey of Burleson, sister Barbara Mancuso of Grand Junction,CO, and brother David Jones and wife Michelle of Medford,OR.
