Bio

Funeral services for Gracie Angel, 84, of Wapanucka were held Saturday in the Wapanucka Church of Christ. George Bennett officiated at the service assisted by Joe Mitchell. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Wapanucka. Mrs. Angel was born June 6, 1902 in Henderson County, Tex. and moved to Wapanucka in 1932. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She married James Wesley Angel December 15, 1917 in Ada. Mr. Angel preceded her in death in 1978. Survivors include three sons, Leon and Dennie of Wapanucka and James Wesley Jr. of Topeka, Kan.; four daughters, Louise Faulk of Wapanucka, LaRue Griffin and Tommie June Ely of Oklahoma City and Anna Romines of Pixley, Calif., one brother, Jack Ingram of Ada; 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Coffey Funeral Home in Durant.
