Essie Florene Stone, 85, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Essie was born July 29, 1921, in Paducah. Survivors: Husband, Archie Stone; son, Gary Stone; grandchildren, Jeremiah Stone, Damien Stone, Ashley Hood, Hondrea Jean, Dwyane Stone, Ronald Stone, Denise Stone, Robert Williams and Greg Williams; brother, J.B. Davidson; three sisters; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Published in the Star-Telegram on 1/20/2007.
