No reliable documentation exists to confirm the exact death date and burial details for Malvenia Hunter. It is likely that she was first buried north of Albany, KY in the Grider family cemetery on Indian Creek where many of her relatives were buried. These graves, many with headstones, were exhumed and reinterred mostly at Hickory Ridge Cemetery before Lake Cumberland began filling in 1950. She was likely one of the many "unknown" graves moved to the Hickory Ridge Cemetery.
