Bio
Joseph Leo Gaida of Granger passed away suddenly at 4:15 p.m., April 3. He was born August 5, 1898, near Taylor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:45 a.m., at the family home and at 10 from SS. Cyril & Methodius Church with the Rev. George Tydlacka officiating. Mr. Gaida has been the fire chief in Granger for 12 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Gaida; mother, Mrs. Frances Gaida; one daughter, Mrs. Georgia Anna Naizer; two sons, Dan L. Gaida and Edward J. Gaida; three sisters, Mrs. Louis Hirockey [as printed], Mrs. Ed Vitek and Mrs. Joe Prcin; also three grandchildren all of Granger. Pallbearers will be members of the fire department and the SPJST lodge. Rosary services will be held at the family home tonight at 7:30 o'clock.
