Sylvia Elaine Alldread August 30, 1933 ~ May 31, 2022 (age 88) Sylvia Elaine Alldread, 88, of Pine Bluff, died Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Alldread was a native of Fountain Hill, a resident of Pine Bluff for the past 50 years, and a former resident of Bastrop, Louisiana. She was a 1952 graduate of Fountain Hill High School where she played basketball, and in June of 1952, she married her one and only true love, Guy Lee Alldread, Jr. Mrs. Alldread started working in the banking industry at age 18, worked for over 40 years and retired from Relyance Bank. She was of the Southern Baptist faith, enjoyed working in her yard, and loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guy Lee Alldread, Jr. in 1990; her daughter, Dana Alldread Roberts in 2009; her parents, Omer and Lois Oliver White, and a brother, Gerald "Buddy" White in 2019. She is survived by a daughter, Kim Alldread Thornton and husband, Mike, of Woodlawn; four grandchildren, Ashlee Hayes and husband, Josh, of Roe, Damian Roberts and wife, Leslie, of Tyro, Jeremy Roberts and wife, Jessica, of Woodlawn and Philip Roberts and wife, Marci, of Monticello; nine great-grandchildren, Luke Roberts, Cassie Roberts, Guy Roberts, Jordan McCoy, Jett Paquin, Jake Hayes, Finlee Hayes, Kalen Roberts, and Olivia Roberts. Graveside services are 2 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2022, in the Flat Creek Cemetery with Bro. David Jacks officiating. Memorials may be made to Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 111 Highway 172, Monticello, AR 71655.
