Bio
orisie Lynn (Yaws) Escanlar was born to Dorotha Lois McIlveene and Baryn Yaws in Mesquite, Texas on January 28th, 1965. She found her soulmate, Tony, at the young age of 16 and they married 6 years later. Dorisie loved to drink coffee and spend time with family. She took her final breaths at the age of 57, at home with her daughters and husband. Her spirit was filled with so much love and humor. She was a friend to everyone that crossed her path. Dorisie's legacy will live on through everyone that knew her. Visitation service will be held Sunday, April 10th, 2022 from 5-8 PM at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Lavon, Texas Funeral service will be held Monday, April 11th, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Lavon, Texas. Matthew 5:14-16 "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
