Ethel Martinka (1915 - 2017) Ethel Verna Martinka, age 101 years 3 ½ months, passed away Monday March 6, 2017 in Granger, TX. Ethel was raised on a farm and ranch and was tough, but had a great heart. Ethel loved bingo. She knew everyone and everyone knew her. She was loved by all and was known as "need something done call Ethel". She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Martinka Sr.; her son, Louis Martinka Jr.; her parents; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. Loved ones she now watches over are her daughters, Joyce Palla and Adeline Lindemann and her husband Kenneth; her granddaughters, Lillian and family and Darby Whitaker and her husband Bob; and many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at 2pm at Condra Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Granger, TX.
