Bio

Ora was born to Van Buren Flatt and Gately Ann Beebe. Her first husband was Charles A Roper whom she married on 25 February 1903. To this union were born Ruth Beatrice, Bessie Ann, Merle Parsons and Clarence Charles. Ora's second husband was Joseph J. Pilan. She died in Des Moines, Iowa, where she grew up in a family of 14 surviving siblings. Her death certificate indicates she was buried in Bruno, NE, but since those cemeteries have very limited listings, and she is not one of them, I have chosen to place her memorial in this location since her death certificate also indicates she lived in David City.
