oving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Dorothy Ann Dusek Holecek passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on April 27, 2022. Dorothy was born in East Bernard, Texas to Arnold and Annie Dusek of Rosenberg, Texas in 1937. She married Lawrence Holecek on August 7, 1960 and moved to College Station where they were lifelong residents. Dorothy was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and she worked part time at Texas A&M University. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing Bunko. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Lawrence. She is survived by her daughter, Johanna Schneider and her husband Mike of Houston; daughter, Karen Westbrook and her husband J.P. of College Station; two grandchildren, Casie Westbrook of Bryan and Cody Westbrook and his wife Jaclyn of College Station; great-granddaughter, Harper, and numerous cousins. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 2541 Earl Rudder Freeway, College Station, Texas 77845. Entombment will follow at Mt.
