Father: Fred Roy STOVALL Mother: Irlene THOMAS Spouse: Oscar Jackson BALLOW Child: John Larry BALLOW Mary Elizabeth STOVALL was born on April 1, 1921 in Hamlin, Jones County, Texas to Fred Roy and Irlene Thomas Stovall. She was a graduate of Hamlin High School. She married Jack Ballow on March 2, 1940 in Lubbock. He died May15, 1977. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Levelland, where she had been active in the Sonshine Choir. She was a homemaker and worked for the US Postal Service as a rural mail carrier. She and her family were named Farm Family of the Year numerous times. She was a loving wife, a nurturing and educating mother to five children, and a spectacular grandmother "Ginny".
