Leonita was born September 24, 1931, in St. Paul, NE, the daughter of Hubert and Anna (Ambrose) O'Neill. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Grand Island, NE with the class of 1949. Leonita attended beauty school in Lincoln, NE. She married James B. Logsdon on June 11, 1955, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island, NE. Leonita worked as a hostess at Bishops Buffett in Lincoln, NE. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Lincoln, NE. Leonita cherished her family and enjoyed cooking and baking. Leonita is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Logsdon. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, and sister, Lorraine Matousek.
