Wahoo Newspapers - Thu 06 Aug 1931, p. 10: Mrs. Janecek Dies Mrs. Marie Janecek, 94, one of the few remaining old pioneers, died Saturday after a brief illness, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her demise was quiet and peaceful. Funeral services were held Monday at the St. John's Catholic church in Prague, with burial in the Plasi cemetery, where her husband, who preceded her in death many years ago, lies. Surviving are one son, Joseph, and three daughters, Mrs. Joseph J. Ourada of Overton, and Mrs. Anton Semrad and Mrs. V. V. Voboril of Prague, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
