Per his Naturalization Petition Record, he states he was born in Lidecko, Bohemia. Bohemia is now known as The Czech Republic, also known as Czechia. Joseph, upon returning from his military service following WWI, owned a bakery in Temple, Bell County, Texas. He was in the US. Army.
