Barbara Jo (Blum) Marks, 74, of Salina and more recently Prairie Village, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 1, 2021. She was born January 19, 1947, in Omaha, the daughter of Allen and Josephine Blum, who lived for decades in the Topeka area. Barbara was a sweet and loving mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed and her parents. Survivors include her son Tim Marks and daughters Katherine Gardner (Justin) and Jennifer Bailey (Daniel); her siblings Fran Carman (Rich), Carol Blum (Steve Wilson), and Allen Blum, Jr.; three grandchildren, Audrey, Lilah and Gavin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation with family will be 4-6 p.m. Monday, July 5, with private visitation from 6-8 p.m., at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, at Ryan Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, in care of Ryan Mortuary.
