Danny Joe Hathcoat, 78, of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Hathcoat was born on April 21st, 1943, to Almon and Mary Frances Siniard Hathcoat. Mr. Hathcoat is survived by his wife Sue Hathcoat; children Scott Hathcoat of Athens, Darin Hathcoat of Athens, Terry Hathcoat of Athens, and Karen Pressnell (Steve) of Elkmont; grandchildren Kristin, McKenzie, Kanyon, and Grayson; great-grandchildren Bo-Hansen, Dierks, and additional great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter Taylor Hathcoat; and grandson Grant Hathcoat. Funeral services for Mr. Hathcoat will be April 12th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be April 12th, from 12:00 to 1:50 at the funeral home.
