Transcription of Obituary from The Bryan Eagle, 1897 The Grim Destroyer At Work Uncle Sam Bullock Mr. Sam Bullock, aged 75 years, died at the home of his son, Rev. J. M. Bullock, in the Reliance community last Thursday night and was buried Friday at Steep Hollow, Rev S. C. Martin conducting the services. Mr. Bullock was a good old man, respected and loved by everybody, who has lived in this county about twenty-five years. He was a member of the Baptist church and had lived a constant christian life. He leaves other children, Messr. Tom, J. E., S. D. and John Bullock, the two first living in this county , and Mrs. W. W. Cook, of Lampasas.
