Billie Jo Tyl, age 78, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, December 23, 2007 in a local hospital. Mrs. Tyl was born August 18, 1929, in Turkey, Texas and had lived in Texarkana most of her life. She was a retired Legal Secretary and a member Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Wayne Tyl. She is survived by her husband: Charlie F. Tyl of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law: Cynthia and Howard Waller of Texarkana, Texas; two sons: Charlie L. Tyl and Mark Tyl both of Texarkana, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law: Tommy and Aundra Roberts of Breman, Alabama; one brother-in-law: Louis Tyl of Waxahachie, Texas; eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Gerald Priest officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 P. M. The family will be at the Tyl residence 3417 Daniels Street Texarkana, Texas 75501.
