Bio

Leslie Randall Carey. age 73, of Brownwood passed away Sunday, January 9. 2022. The Family will host a graveside memorial service at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. Randall was born to Sarah L (Redwine) and Earvine B.Cary on September 16. 1948 in Brownwood. Randell went to school in Brownwood until his jr. year. then he attended Blanket High School graduating from there im 1969. Randall joined the National Guard serving 6 years. Randall went to work for the fire department in Brownwood 32 years until He retired. He loved loved hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He was a big Cowboys fan. He loved being around people and spending time with friends and family. He was a person you could always count on and was loved by many. He never complained when his health declined. He always said " The good Lord will take care of me " Randall is preceded in death by His parents. and brother Charles Michael (Mike) Carey. He is survived by his brother Daniel M Carey and Sister in law. Pam Carey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. in Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St.Jude Hospital for Children.
