Bio
Margaret "Margie" Valek Bohuslav passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at the age of 97. Margie was born in Telico, Texas and lived in Ennis all her life. She was most proud of her Czech heritage and her Catholic faith, and was a lifelong member of St. John Catholic Church. Margie was a homemaker who liked decorating her home, shopping, and socializing with her card group and "Red Hat Ladies". She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Bo Bohuslav and her daughter, Lisa Bohuslav Marklund. Margie is survived by her daughter, Maryette Garrett and husband, Ron Garrett. She was called Grandma by 3 grandchildren, Josh Garrett, Kaki Warren, and Katy Newberry. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Bluebonnet Rehab (IOOF) for their kindness and loving attention in the past years. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
