Paul Wrobleski Jr. of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022. He was 86 yrs. old. Paul was born in Anderson, Texas on March 26, 1935 and will be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his baby brother, Thomas, his parents, Paul and Pearl Wrobleski, and his brother-in-law, Johnnie Rybak. He leaves behind his beloved sister, Helen Rybak. He also leaves behind nephew Wayne Rybak (Diane) and nieces Janet Rybak and Patricia Janak (Chris) along with numerous great nieces and nephews. Paul was a graduate of St. Thomas High School, class of 1955. While in high school, he started working for Weingarten's grocery store gathering grocery carts. He eventually worked his way to becoming a store manager. After the close of Weingarten's, Paul worked for Gerland's/Food Town and finally retired after many years of being a store manager. Paul also served in the US Army, based in Okinawa, Japan. Additionally, he served as an Officer in the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the 55+ group at his church. Paul loved to travel. China, Russia, Italy, Israel, and The Vatican were among the many places he visited. While at home, he kept busy working in his garden and tending his fruit trees. The family will miss his stories about being a store manager and the interesting and unusual customers he encountered over the years. His favorite saying was, "Don't take any wooden nickels." The family would like to thank his many friends over the years, especially Rosemary, Ted and Sue, Pat and Ann, and his two neighbors, Mary Glen and Ed. The family would also like to recognize the amazing doctors and nurses at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital that provided outstanding and compassionate care for him. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 24 at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, Texas from 5:00-8:00pm, with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Mass will be celebrated on Friday March 25 at Christ the Good Shepherd, 18511 Klein Church Rd. Spring, Texas at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas. Klein Funeral Home
