Bio

William Fredrick Bland, 79, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Mr. Bland served ten years in the US Navy and ten years in the US Air Force all during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and his 1934 Model A hotrod. Survivors include his wife, Mona McDaniel; sons: James Bland, Paul Bland and Will Bland; daughters: Donna Cullison, Rhonda Gogel, Carrie Hayes, Kathy Troupe and Krystle Newby; sisters, Libby Grider and Julie Jett; and many grandchildren and great-greatchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, James F. Bland; mother, Miriam Leavitt; and stepfather, Jude Leavitt. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 16th from 5:00 - 6:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be Thursday, March 17th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tim Cole officiating followed by burial at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
