Parents: Chester Davison and Minnie Davison Odom She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was amazing, adventurous, and an intelligent strong woman with a happy and outgoing personality. he graduated from Geronimo HS and attended Cameron University where she was a barrel racer and basketball player. In 1951, she married Leonard Walterscheid the love of her life. They were married for 63 years. She worked as the secretary at the local Moab schools and later was the office administrator of her husband's trucking business. In 1959, Betty and Leonard moved their family to Moab, UT and then later in 1996, they moved to Grand Junction to retire and be closer to three of their children and grandchildren. Betty was active in her communities, serving as Utah's St. Jude Coordinator, participating in ESA and Beta Eta Sorority, singing with Valley Voices and her church choirs, acting in four movies, President of Canyonland's Rodeo Committee, attending her children's sporting events, and playing bridge. Betty was an active member of the Moab Community Baptist Church and Grand Junction First Baptist Church. Four children survive Betty, 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, all who brought her great love and joy. Family was everything to Betty.
