McCurtain Gazette, Sep 21, 1972 in Idabel, Oklahoma Thomas Benton Mills, 65, longtime Idabel Wholesaler, died at approximately 2:30 a.m. this morning (Thursday) in the McCurtain Memorial hospital. Born April 26, 1907, in Eagletown, he had been a resident of McCurtain County all of his life. He was owner and operator of Mills Wholesale in Idabel and former manager of the old Wooten Grocer Company. He was charter member of the Idabel Kiwanis Club, and was a member of the United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Strawn Mills of Idabel, and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wooten and Miss Agnes Mae Mills, both of Idabel. Funeral services will be announced by Norwood-Welch Funeral home.
