Jay Watts, son of Nancy "Jane" BURTON and Moses Hollingsworth Watts. It seems Jay often went by a variety of names. On the 1900 census, he is listed as Joel J. Watts. In 1907 on his official marriage license, he is listed as J. J. M. Watts, though Lizer Jayne SIDES's note authorizes her daughter Teley to marry "Jay WATTS". On the 1910 census he is listed as John WATTS. On June 5, 1917 on his World War I Draft his signature is "J. L. Joe WATTS" On the 1930 census he is listed as James J.
