Married to Donald Paul Britt June 9, 1951 in Tarrant County, Texas Barbara Ann Britt was born February 6, 1935, and passed away at the age of 87 on February 24, 2022. Private services will be held at Eastview Memorial Park in Vernon, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. After working for Sherwin-Williams for many years, she and her BFF, Carol Lawrence partnered up as realtors with Hirschi Realtors, where they worked together until she retired. Barbara was a spitfire; incredibly funny with an infectious laugh. A great cook, she delighted in feeding people and pets. She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music. A favorite song was Only a Lifetime by Finneas. She loved to tell stories, and if she knew something, she knew it, maybe with some artistic license taken along the way. If she didn't know, she would admit it. But she would always give you her best guess. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Donald Britt; her father, D.G. Hoffman and mother, Maudetta Hoffman Turpin. She is survived by her son, Mark Britt; daughter, Paula Walmer and son-in-law Andy; grandchildren: Hailey Faulkner and husband Bradley; Chad Britt and wife Rebecca; Britt Murphy and husband Brandon; and Calvin Walmer; and five great-grandchildren.
