From Dignity Memorial website Luther Von Oliver, 98 passed away quietly early Saturday morning, January 26, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center after a short illness. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, February 1, 2013 at Carmel Cemetery in Lindale, TX. Luther was born on September 18, 1914 in Gilmer, Texas, the son of Edmond Luther Oliver and Ada Green Oliver. He is survived by his wife Ginger Oliver of Denison, TX; sons Vaughn Oliver of Weatherford, TX, Dan Oliver of Colorado; and many loving family members. He was preceded in death by his first wife Katherine Oliver in 1993 and his second wife Jewell Oliver in 2000, son Robert Oliver and his parents. Mr. Oliver worked as a postal worker for the railroad until his retirement, then went on to build houses. He was a Boy Scout leader for many years and loved to hunt and fish every chance he got.
