Louis Owens Alfred, 71 of Pensacola, FL, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012. He was born February 4, 1941 to Eva and George Alfred in Pensacola. He loved fishing and riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife, Donnie; son, Dennis (Susan); three stepchildren, Alaine Grimsley, Dana Grimsley and Lisa Wilson; two brothers, Eugene (Marion) Alfred and Steve Alfred; two sisters, Frances Carmichael and Volita (Don) Divens; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Steve Crutchfield, Chad Alfred, Robert Nelson, Bubba Griffith, Dickie Davis and Buddy Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Stan Ferguson, Manning Hitt and Donell Gavins. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Black Hammock Cemetery, Bagdad, FL with Reverend Harry Bush officiating. In lieu of flowers, donate to American Lung Association.
