His skull was badly crushed and he died instantly. His car, a 1956 Ford, was demolished. Lawrence Hay, Beckham county sheriff and Buck Wright, jailer, were enroute to Sayre from Sweetwater at the time of the acedent and came up-on the wreck scene within minutes after the tradegy occured. Wilson was employed by the Kerr-McGee Oil Company of Dalhart. He was born October 18, 1930 at Granite and had lived in and near Delhi all his life having attended and graduated from the Delhi School. He was a member of the Delhi Baptist church and the Masonic lodge. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p. m. in the Baptist church at Delhi with Rev. Tommy Carmichael and Rev. George Stewart officiating. The Masonic lodge will conduct graveside rites in the Delhi cemetery. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrse Olen Wilson of Delhi, one sister, Miss Louann Wilson of the home address, his grandfather, Finis Wilson of Amarillo and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dudek of Willow. Casket bearers will be Wayne Snider, H. K. Holland, Bob Baker, Cecil Wayne Estes, Billie Ray Moss Jack Bonifield. Arrangements are in charge of the Moore Funeral home.
