GEORGE (AL) ROBBINS AUG 5, 1927 - JUNE 2, 2009 Born in Oakland CA, Al lived in Modesto for 70 years. Graduated from Modesto High School and attended MJC. Joined the Navy and was a World War II veteran. He was in the Automobile Business for 60 years. Over 50 year member of the Shrine Club & Masons and 57 year member of the Elks Club. Past President of Modesto Shrine Club and 50 Plus Club of Stanislaus County. He was an avid golfer and played 25 years at Del Rio CC. Al is survived by his wife of 56 years Alta Robbins,
