Bio
Lillian Barto, age 97 of Ennis, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was born in Ennis, Texas, on June 11, 1924, to Karolina and Karel Vrzalik. She married John Barto on October 19, 1941. She was a lifetime member of St. John Catholic Church and a charter member of the Catholic Daughters. She is survived by four daughters, Margaret Holy of Ennis, Jeanie Holey of Dallas, Carolyn Korioth of Dallas and Monica Jakubik and her husband Dwain of Ennis; two sons, James David Barto and wife Sharon of Ennis and Bernie Barto and his wife Maureen of Corsicana; Grandchildren, Rita Holy Tolliver, Gwen Garfias, Lynnette Martinez, Doug Holy, Pam Martin, Russell Holey, Stuart Holey, Jennifer Prado, Brian Barto, Jeffrey Barto, Johnelle Musial, Tim Korioth, Jason Barto, Brendan Barto, 14 Great Grandchildren and 17 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John of 68 years, daughter Dorothy, sister Bessie Hosek Reames and brother Charles Vrzalik, Sr. A burial service will be held at a later date.
