Bio

Bertha Pearl Henry Ficklin was the fifth-born child of ten born to William Franklin and Martha Patsy Henry. Pearl married Terry Ficklin on March 12, 1922 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Ficklin's job with the Missouri-Pacific Railroad brought them to Kingsville, Texas in 1926, where Pearl became a member of the United Methodist Church, Kingsville, Texas and the Ladies Society of Brotherhood Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen.
